Peeyush Sekhsaria has a Masters in Earthen Architecture from CRATerre, France and an M.Phil in Geography from the Sorbonne, Paris. During the period 2001-2006, based out of France he worked as an International consultant with CRATerre, Architecture& Development and Handicap International in West Africa, the Middle-East and Central Asia. He is currently based out of Delhi working as a Consultant in the domains of Environment, Disaster Management and Development.

As a photographer he has exhibited twice at the Piramal Gallery, NCPA Mumbai and has had a number of solo and group exhibitions internationally. His recent assignments include photography for the Greenpeace publication, "Safeguard or Squander: Deciding the Future of India's Fisheries" for which he also contributed as a researcher and writer. Recently he completed the photography for the (to be published) book, "Kailas at Ellora – A New View of a Misunderstood Masterpiece" by Roger Vogler.
